The story
behind each cup
at Fenyk Coffee & Social
Fenyk Coffee & Social opened its doors in 2024 with a simple mission: to create a space where people could slow down, connect, and feel at home. Founded by Pardeep Sooch, the café took shape in Calgary’s Northland Village, quickly becoming a local favorite thanks to its warm atmosphere, extended hours, and partnerships with Alberta-based producers like Rosso Coffee Roasters and Sarjesa Tea. The name “Fenyk” was inspired by the Fennec fox — a symbol of loyalty, community, and adaptability.
After a strong first year, Fenyk expanded in 2025 with a second location at WinSport Podium Apartments. This new space introduced a full kitchen, patio seating, and an evening menu featuring wine, beer, and pizza. What started as a cozy neighborhood café evolved into a social hub that reflects Calgary’s evolving coffee culture — one cup and conversation at a time.
Core Values
At Fenyk, everything we do is rooted in these four values:
01
Community First
We’re more than a coffee shop — we’re a space for connection. Every decision we make supports building a warm, welcoming environment where people feel seen and valued.
02
Local Love
We proudly partner with Alberta-based makers and roasters. Supporting local isn’t just a choice, it’s part of who we are.
03
Purposeful Hospitality
Inspired by the Fennec fox, we lead with loyalty, warmth, and intention. Every guest, every drink, every visit — we’re here to serve with heart.
04
Day to Night
From morning coffee to late-night wine, we create moments for every kind of gathering. Fenyk is a place to start your day or wind it down.
